Floral design is our family legacy.

I'm not joking.

As a little girl, I loved flowers. But not in the way most little girls do. Both of my grandparents were horticulturalists and owned their own flower shop, Nature's Own Florist in Modesto, California. My grandparents grew their own flowers in their gardens and greenhouse, and I would spend hours following my Grandmother around, asking the common and Latin names of every flower in sight.

My Aunt Margaret who would take over my grandparents shop has always been my biggest inspiration and mentor. She would save broken blooms and discarded clippings for me to play with as a child. But my play became practice and my practice, a passion, and by the time I went to college I was hooked.

My childhood was fragrant and colorful and sparked in me a passion for all things floral.
I prefer to operate in the background, evidenced by the fact I couldn't find a single picture of just me!

I prefer to operate in the background, evidenced by the fact I couldn't find a single picture of just me!

That passion is what founded Fleurish.

After fifteen years of professional floral experience, processing, arranging, designing and managing a flower shop, I'm venturing out on my own.

A nod to my grandparents' tried and true ways of working with the freshest of flowers, coupled with a forward-looking eye for design and a penchant for exceeding expectations, Nature's Own Fleurish isn't your run-of-the-mill commercial flower shop.

It's my aim to fill a niche in the floral market. One that allows me to focus on the people behind and at the center of events - the brides, moms (and dads!), event planners and hosts - I vow to give my undivided attention, unique design and eye for detail to make your floral dreams come true.
